I have tried

calls, smses, and posts have been scarce in my plight to get to know you better.
Sibo is quite distant from the heart but forever remains in my mind
I have fallen for others only to be disappointed,i have liked them a whole lot  and longed to be thirs only to have my heart broken a thousand times more.
I have rejected you and tried everything I know under the sun to forget you, only to find myself going around in circles around the circled heart you have given unto me.
I even sought to hating you without much success that is!
I have given up in my plighted fight to forget about you & move on to greener or better pastures only to find a barren land that makes me long to be engulfed in your cuddly arms

COMMUNITIES NEED TO START PRESERVING WATER OR BY 2050 SOUTH AFRICA WILL BE DRY (HEADING TAKEN FROM PAGE 5 OF THE SOWETAN NEWSPAPER

01 SEPTEMBER is known as Spring Day specifically in South Africa where the youth normally celebrate by pouring water over each other. They tend to forget how precious water is, not only to Africa at large but to the rest of the world. The tradition has been going on since I was born, but as one grows up and sees how changing conditions in the environment such as global warming affect the climate.
Does it not make one want to contribute positively to the plight of saving as much water as possible? Rand Water’s famous logo”every drop counts” is not just a myth but the hard truth. So now the question is what do you want to do in order to do your bit in preserving water?

learn your South African Anthem

Nkosi sikelel' iAfrika
Maluphakanyisw' uphondo lwayo,
Yizwa imithandazo yethu,
Nkosi sikelela, thina lusapho lwayo.

Morena boloka setjhaba sa heso,
O fedise dintwa le matshwenyeho,
O se boloke, O se boloke setjhaba sa heso,
Setjhaba sa South Afrika – South Afrika.

Uit die blou van onse hemel,
Uit die diepte van ons see,
Oor ons ewige gebergtes,
Waar die kranse antwoord gee,

Sounds the call to come together,
And united we shall stand,
Let us live and strive for freedom,
In South Africa our land.
